Over the weekend, I finally pushed myself towards changing some of my lifestyle habits. I’ve talked about it for a while, and I finally decided to quit talking and start doing. I’m not doing anything too big or crazy, like going vegan, but I want to change how I treat my body so that I can ensure that my mind (read: mental sanity) stays taken care of, and well, sane.
As I was perusing some cool easy-to-do tips (like how waking up no later than 7am can help you do better in the workplace and lower your chance of being depressed, stressed and overweight), I came across a neat new home and renovation book, Prefabulous + Almost Off the Grid by Sheri Koones. It’s a handbook for anyone looking to renovate or rebuild their space but what sets it apart from other books in the same vein is that it offers affordable alternatives for creating a more energy-efficient home that’s both “easy on the environment and on the eyes.”
Is there anything cooler?
