A South African Beach House

They say a picture is worth a thousand words…but I’d rather wish these shots were worth a thousand frequent flyer miles. Each.

Now that I’m sufficiently getting over my fear of flying (thanks to some incredible hypnosis therapy, which I couldn’t recommend fast enough for anyone with phobias, high stress levels, or looking to quit something like smoking), I’m all geared up to fly with tons of places to go. I only need the tickets.

As a local Floridian now, I’m completely embracing the ease and comfort of beach house designs. Especially those that don’t go overboard with the location-themed decor. I think this house, photographed by Micky Hoyle, does it just right.
